Baiadera

Lanificio Paoletti keeps alive the tradition of a line of blankets named "Baiadera", a term that indicates a brightly colored striped fabric, but which derives from the Portuguese bailadera: dancers that in the nineteenth century performed exotic dances wearing this kind of fabric. Using yarn inventories at the end of the season, Lanificio Paoletti creates combinations of Baiadera blankets in pure Shetland wool with casual combinations of bright mélange colors.
